Multi-Instrumentalist. Composer. Educator

Nic Ryan-Glenie plays trumpet, keys, guitar, bass guitar and trombone. He has a Masters in Music Education from Melbourne University, has performed as a professional musician for 11 years touring the USA, Europe, South America and Australia as core band member with multiple ARIA winning and MTV nominated artist Vance Joy, Australian funk-soul 9-piece Saskwatch, and regularly performs in latin, mariachi, manouche and New Orleans jazz ensembles across Australia. Nic is mentored by Scott Tinkler, Adrian Sheriff, Sam Keavers and Stephen Magnusson, played with TLC and Guy Sebastian and performed at Glastonbury, Red Rocks, Coachella, Lollapalooza in Brazil and has supported Earth, Wind and Fire. Nic has taught in Australia and abroad, is a composer of the psychadelic 7 piece group the Let Your Hair Down Girls, the New Orleans and Django Reinhardt inspired Big and Easy Jazz Band and new wave inspired outfit, Rumpus Room.

Nic records, produces and has music supervised and composed for film and TV (including ABC’s Corey White’s Roadmap To Paradise and short film Murder Mouth).
