NIC RYAN-GLENIE
Multi-Instrumentalist. Composer. Studio Engineer. Educator.
Nic Ryan-Glenie plays trumpet, keys, guitar, bass guitar and trombone. As a professional musician, Nic has toured the USA, Europe, South America and Australia as core band member with multiple ARIA winning and MTV nominated artist Vance Joy and Australian funk-soul 9-piece Saskwatch. He has toured with Guy Sebastian and TLC, performed at Glastonbury, Red Rocks, Coachella and Lollapalooza Brazil and has supported both Earth, Wind and Fire and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. Nic performs with latin, mariachi, manouche and New Orleans jazz ensembles across Australia and is mentored by Scott Tinkler, Adrian Sheriff and Stephen Magnusson.
Ryan-Glenie is a composer of the psychadelic 7 piece group Let Your Hair Down, the New Orleans and Django Reinhardt inspired Big and Easy Jazz Band and tropical lofi soul outfit, Rumpus Room.
